How to Allow Printing Without User Codes

Details:  The user wants account numbers used for copying and does not want to enter accounts for printing. When User Controls are Enabled, printing B/W without an account number is allowed by default.

Solution: To allow all printing without the need for an account code you must change the authority group of the user “Other User” which is a default user account.

If Disabling of Printing by Invalid User is checked a valid account must be entered in the print driver for ALL printing. If it is left unchecked all print jobs will use the authority of the “Other User” account.

To edit the account to allow both Color and B/W Printing: Select “Other User” from the Default User List

Change the Authority Group from Guest to User, and then click Submit. You will now be able to print B/W and Color prints without entering an account number in the print driver.
