This may be necessary for scanning to NetApp filers, Samba, NAS, etc.
On the new Sharp models: Log on to the web interface. Network Settings > Services Settings > SNTP: Enter the SNTP Server name or IP address and click Synchronize Upon Start and click Submit (see image below).
Confirm by: On the web page, System Settings > Default Settings: Verify the time and confirm the “Synchronize with Internet Server” box is checked (see image below).
