Installing the FMAudit Onsite client
It is highly recommended that the FMAudit Onsite client be installed on a computer that is always on during business hours. A server is the best option if possible. The FMAudit Onsite client will search the network for network attached printers and automatically report their print counts. (Note: If you need to pull print counts from printers that are locally attached to a computer through USB or Parallel, see the Installing the FMAudit Agent instructions after installing the FMAudit Onsite client.)
The computer needs to meet the following requirements.
· Window 2000 or better · Internet Explorer 7 or better · .NET 2.0 installed Step One – Downloading FMAudit Onsite client.
- Open Internet Explorer and go to the following website. http://fma.lesolsoncompany.com
- Login using your e-mail address and the password provided by Les Olson Company.
- Click the Accounts link on the upper left side.
- Click on your account name in the List All Accounts section. (example: LOC-ARC2)
- Click on the FMAudit Onsite Install button.
- Click on ‘Click here to proceed’.
- Make sure that the Minimum Requirements Validation section shows ‘Success’ in the top 3 fields. Then click the Download Installer button on the bottom.
- Click the Run button
- Click the run button.
Step 2 – Installing FMAudit Onsite client.
- Click Next.
- Click ‘I Agree’.
- Click Next
- Click Install
- When install completes, click the Close button.
Step 3 - Verify the Onsite client is reporting.
- Open Internet Explorer and go to the following website. http://fma.lesolsoncompany.com
- Login using your e-mail address and the password provided by Les Olson Company.
- Click the Accounts link on the upper left side.
- Click on your account name in the List All Accounts section. (example: LOC-ARC2)
- At the bottom of the web page verify that a report came in. NOTE: It can take from 2 to 10 minutes for a report to come in after Onsite is first installed.
- Congratulations! Install is complete.
