How to saddle stitch documents on an MX-PEX1 & MX-PEX2 (Fiery PS Printer Driver)

How to saddle stitch 8 ½ x 11 originals on 8 ½ x 11R


•
From the “Basic” tab, click “Booklet Maker”, and select “Saddle” (The option

will be grayed out, but is still selectable). A window will pop-up stating that there

are conflicts. Click “Ok”, and the driver will correct the conflicts, and adjust the

driver to the correct settings.


•
Click on the “Finishing” tab, click “Stapler mode”, and select “Saddle Stitch”.

You will get another conflict window; click “Ok” to correct the conflicts.


•
Click “Ok” 2 times to print your document.


•
NOTE: If printing from Bypass Tray, you must select the Bypass Tray from the

printer driver and NOT manually selecting it when asked from the touch panel of

the copier.

Click on the “Media” tab, select “Print Size”, and choose 11 x 17.

How to saddle stitch 11 x 17 originals (Two 8 ½ x 11’s side by side) on 11 x 17

Click on the “Finishing” tab, click “Stapler mode”, and select “Saddle Stitch”. A

window will pop-up stating that there are conflicts. Click “Ok”, and the driver

will correct the conflicts and adjust the driver to the correct settings.

Click “Ok”, and the driver will correct the conflicts, and adjust the driver to the

correct settings.

Click on the “Layout” tab, click “Orientation”, and select “Landscape”.

• Click on “Duplex”, and choose “Top to Top”.

• Click on the “Media tab, click “Print Size”, and select “11 x 17”.

• Click on “Paper Size”, and select “11 x 17”.

*Note – these instructions are valid for the PostScript driver only *
